A ferris wheel illuminated the sky above San Diego new home community Del Sur on Oct. 19, as more than 2,500 residents gathered for the neighborhood’s annual Fall Festival. Festivities – ranging from rides to games to live music and dancing – were enjoyed by all at the exclusive event.
“The Fall Festival is the largest and most popular event of the year at Del Sur,” said Lisa Sanders, marketing manager at Del Sur. “Residents gather to celebrate the season with their families, and to catch up with their neighbors. It’s a great way for new residents to meet each other, too.”
In addition to carnival favorites, the festival included hayrides, a fall crafting station, an adult-beverage garden, pumpkin golf, costumes, and a sampling of San Diego’s favorite food trucks.
The Del Sur Fall Festival is one of more than a dozen events coordinated by the Del Sur Community Services Council each year. Other resident-only events include summer concert/movie nights, a snow day, a spring circus and more. Adult residents also enjoy socials like Del Sur’s holiday cocktail party, which will take place at the Del Sur Ranch House in December.
